Guided Bike Tours
Would you like to take a tour of the Eternal City using the most sustainable transportation method? Why not explore a guided tour for your group only or join others, accompanied by an expert biker and a tour guide? You can choose either a private tour just for you or join a group of friends to bike around together—whatever your choice, a lot of fun is included!
All tours are managed by our partner, Doctorbike, and include the rental of an electrically-assisted bike (Rome is still built on seven hills!), all safety equipment, and, for the full-day tour, lunch is included as well!
NOTE: All private or group tours will be carried out with a minimum of two participants.
Half day tour of Rome’s Historical Centre – 4 hours
This half day tour will let you explore by bike the City Center and its most famous hills, squares, fountains, palaces and cozy narrow streets, and give us a full taste of the Roman way of life.

Half day tour tour of the Appian Way – 4 hours
The Appian Way, once called the Regina Viarium (the Queen of all Streets), is the oldest of many streets that once ensured an easy reach of all regions of the Roman Empire. This tour will run on the original road (with nearly intact lastricate) and get you to the countryside, with its Roman Villas, the Park of Acqueducts and ancient tombs along the street.

Full day tour – 7 hours
This full day tour will thoroughly explore the City and take you to attractions and priceless panoramas of the Eternal City!

Bike Rental
If, instead, you want to explore Rome by bike on your own, you can rent pedal assisted bikes at very competitive prices at Doctorbike’s shop, centrally located in Via del Gesù, 91 (see map).
